Lifesaving Help for Animals in Desperate Need

Animals Unbound is ready to quickly respond to emergencies and crises that affect animals. We are unlimited by location or species, responding anywhere in the world for farmed animals, wildlife, and companion animals.

To maximize our impact, we collaborate with effective, trusted partners on the ground and worldwide. Whether rescuing stray dogs in Kathmandu, saving abandoned animals in Ukraine from starvation, or preventing an organization collapsing, we’re committed to changing lives on the frontlines.

Many organizations that rescue animals in disasters are smaller groups that happen to be in the location where the disaster happened. They’re committed to the animals for the long term but typically have little or no experience with emergencies. Large international organizations have expertise and resources for disaster response, but are not usually positioned to stay on site throughout a long recovery. We leverage our network to bridge these gaps, help local charities secure resources, and give the animal victims of emergencies the essential aid they urgently need.

Thanks to support from compassionate people like you, we’re currently helping dogs and cats who were abandoned when their people fled their homes due to the war.

This program is a collaboration with our broad network of animal shelters, other organizations, vet clinics, and dedicated volunteers in Ukraine. We’re feeding more than 9,000 homeless animals, preventing the births of hundreds of thousands of puppies and kittens on the streets, and giving emergency veterinary care.
